All about Roseries - What do they do and how are they used?

Made popular most recently by the wearing of them as jewellery, the rosary is a traditional prayer that contemplates the key scenes in Christ’s life and resurrection and is most often recited using a set of rosary beads.

The praying of the rosary has been emphasised by Our Lady herself, as being a major key in transforming the inner life of each Soul wishing to grow closer to Christ. Through meditating upon the meaning of a key event or period in the life of Jesus, each Soul opens a “door” by which Christ may enter and intimately instruct “The Way”.

A group of related events or periods in the life of Christ are put together in the rosary’s recitation as either the joyful, sorrowful or glorious mysteries. And each is a “mystery” without the divine tuition granted to each Soul by the Great Teacher of “the Way”. The devote recitation of the rosary is, in essence, an opening up by each Soul... a deliberate choice to put aside a suitable period of time, away from all distractions so as to be still and let God take him/her upon a mystical journey of discovery... of understanding spiritual truth not made clear by the work of intellect alone.

Further, the investment of that time is rewarded infinitely by a strengthening of a bond between the two participants, so that the Soul is more closely united and instructed at all times thereafter - a gift beyond measure.

In the temporal world of personal development and psychological performance, wealthy individuals spend a small fortune to employ a coach to raise their awareness and motivation to explore and achieve their personal “best”. Here, all of heaven awaits an opportunity to celebrate the Soul’s desire to ascend and embrace its eternal legacy to walk with Christ.

The gift of a rosary beads is in itself a beautiful gesture, since so many are made of rare and precious materials. Yet beyond this exists a priceless opportunity to embrace a heavenly gift, to become increasingly aware that one never walks alone and has God’s own counsel upon which to depend.

We stock hundreds of beautiful rosaries* and a number of “how to say the rosary” books for children and adults: from the very basic pamphlets to deeply meditative tomes. Please call in, phone or email for further assistance:
